These Olympics days have one benefit for me. I discovered several sushi restaurants downtown and specially close to Granville street. One great restaurant that I have been to is called “Yamato Sushi”. It is a small place and is surrounded by many other sushi places around it. So, if you don’t know about it, you might end up going to some other places.
The quality of the sushis were good. However, the place is not that charming. You can see all the sushi images on the walls. Something that is great as an option if you are not a professional sushi eater like me.
The place is not really designed for eat-in but as I don’t live downtown, I ended up always eating there. Most of the people come and order take outs. You can see the menu of this sushi restaurant here:

Just note that their 5.95 special sushi combo now has changed to a 6.95 combo.
