Lonsdale Quay

March 11th, 2009

vancouver lonsdale quay Lonsdale QuayLonsdale Quay is located on the North Vancouver waterfront with a spectacular view of the see.  It is considered as one of the major transit hubs and one of the gateways to north shore.  Seabus terminal is located on Lonsdale Quay and it is one of the best commuters which connects the North Shore and Downtown Vancouver.  Whenever there is an accident on one of the north shore bridges, it can easily make a huge delay especially during rush hours. Seabus, however, operates usually without any delay.

On the North Shore side, SeaBus terminal joins an extensive network of North Shore buses and in Downtown Vancouver connects with buses, SkyTrain and the West Coast Express.

Lonsdal Quay contains more than 90 shops, fresh food markets and children’s play area.

Vancouver Night Life

February 22nd, 2009

pic1 Vancouver Night LifeYou can not find the night life that alive in Vancouver at first, every shopping malls are closing around 6 or 7, you only have the choice of resturant or bar to go to.  There are some shops that are open and you might want to know where and till when. If you live by metrotown, the famous metrotown shopping mall is open till 9, so you can spend some time there, and if you are like me a non-vehicale owner you find that easy to get a skytrain and be in downtown by 9:30 at most. You can take a walk a little bit if the weather is good or you can enjoy passing through the pacific center mall. The one experience that you won’t forget as I am sure you gonna be lost a lot throug its passageways. Then you need to know which club has your type of music playing, there are a lot of clubs varying from salsa to house. The most clubs are at granville so you probably won’t get lost finding them.

You can find a list of clubs at clubzone.
