Subway’s meatball deal

Previously we have informed that subway (between 13th and 14th on Lonsdale) has a deal on its meatballs. The meatballs were provided for 1.99 for a 6 inches and 3.98 for 12 inches before tax. However, the last time I visited the subway the deal is no more offered and you could not get the deal from subway on Lonsdale.
The deals now is 4 subway sandwiches for 2.99 for its 6 inches. These sub sandwiches are cold cut, tuna, meatball and BMT.

Queens Sport Bar

If you want to enjoy watching a hockey game with your friends you can always trust on a bar cross lonsdale and queens. It is located in North Vancouver, and me and my friends have watched the lose of Canucks against Black Hawks there. The atmosphere was not that energetic as the average age of people there I can say was 30. More like family based bar to enjoy watching hockey game. In the bar you can find raffle tickets all the time. Each time canucks scores they are giving free t-shirts away. The food was good. There was a wide white screen which was used for the game.
If you don’t have time to go to downtown and join the fun at the heart of the fun, this is the best choice I found in the north Vancouver.

Subway special deal on lonsdale

deal Subway special deal on lonsdaleAs you might have read one of our previous articles about subways in north Vancouver, I want to introduce to you one unique subway from all of them. As you might all know, from time to time, subway along other franchised come up with special deals to attract customers. It is good news when you hear those but the bad news is that usually the older deals will fade out and you can not get the deals you used to get. My first deal I got in a subway was its Meatball, 6 inches for just 1.99 before taxes. After subway introduced its new deal of the day deals I couldn’t find meatballs for that price anymore.

Do not worry, if you like meatballs a lot, you can still get that deal from one of my favourites subways located between 13th and 14th of lonsdale. Just order a meatball and pay 2.08 cents or go for a footlong and pay 4.16. Can you find any better deal in this hard economy times ? The subway is open till 11 in the night, so don’t be late for a great deal there.

Lonsdale Quay

vancouver lonsdale quay Lonsdale QuayLonsdale Quay is located on the North Vancouver waterfront with a spectacular view of the see.  It is considered as one of the major transit hubs and one of the gateways to north shore.  Seabus terminal is located on Lonsdale Quay and it is one of the best commuters which connects the North Shore and Downtown Vancouver.  Whenever there is an accident on one of the north shore bridges, it can easily make a huge delay especially during rush hours. Seabus, however, operates usually without any delay.

On the North Shore side, SeaBus terminal joins an extensive network of North Shore buses and in Downtown Vancouver connects with buses, SkyTrain and the West Coast Express.

Lonsdal Quay contains more than 90 shops, fresh food markets and children’s play area.
